The Dust Genie is most effective in open areas when you use the tips and inside edges of the rotating bristles to sweep dust towards the center of the brush (where the suction is greatest). To do that you must position the Dust Genie at an angle to the surface you are cleaning, allowing no more than 50% of the rotating bristles to contact that surface.
The Adjustable Angle Adapter makes it easy to hold the Dust Genie at the proper angle, and it can be used with extension tubes to clean hard-to-reach areas like baseboards, high shelves, the tops of cabinets, etc.
The photo above shows the Adjustable Angle Adapter at its minimum and maximum angles. The overall length is 6.5”, and it accepts a standard 1.25" male hose connector or extension tube. Other sizes or types of connectors and extension tubes may require an additional adapter.
